We exist to support the delivery of excellent healthcare.
Calvient is a team with healthcare and software experience grounded in real operational work. We do not sell hype. We use AI where it helps, and we stay focused on the practical constraints of healthcare delivery.
Advancing Healthcare with Practical Innovation
Excellence comes from execution. Technology matters only if it solves the real work in front of staff and patients.
You do not need AI to tell you that patients want timely care. This is why we call our solutions practical: we spend time understanding workflows first, then automate only where it reduces burden or improves control.
That's what excellence in healthcare means: innovation at the margin.
We are uniquely serious about healthcare
From operational burdens to clinical workflows, we focus on problems that affect real teams. Our background includes healthcare operations, clinical support, and healthcare IT.
We align incentives across healthcare
Real progress requires the right incentives, centered on sustainability for all parties—providers, patients, and systems.
We deliver practical value with integrity
Healthcare systems need tools that work. We care about clear ROI, measurable operational improvement, and promises we can stand behind.
We obsess over practicalities, not theoreticals
Healthcare runs on faxes, referrals, prior auths, and care coordination. We solve the actual burdens of running a practice.
We own trust & demonstrate measurable results
Providers carry real confidentiality and security obligations. We take that seriously and focus on outcomes teams can actually measure.
We want community healthcare to flourish
Independent providers and community systems deserve tools that help them thrive—regardless of size or resources.
Our Leadership
Our leadership team combines healthcare operations experience with product, engineering, revenue, and implementation work across healthcare IT and software companies.
That mix shapes how Calvient is built: practical workflows first, disciplined execution, and technology that has to earn its place inside real healthcare environments.
Jonathan leads Calvient with a commitment to building systems that help healthcare teams work with more clarity and less operational drag.
His experience across healthcare and technology has centered on real workflow problems that affect operators, staff, and patient access. Leadership roles at Oklahoma Heart Hospital and Encardio Health gave him firsthand exposure to the constraints, edge cases, and change-management challenges healthcare teams face every day.
In 2020, he presented at the HIMSS Global Health Conference on patient engagement during the industry's pivot to virtual care, establishing his reputation as a trusted voice in healthcare IT.
A resident of Oklahoma City, Jonathan is a proud husband and father of four, serves as a deacon at his church, coaches Little League flag football, and enjoys playing guitar.
Josh brings deep technical experience in interoperability, AI, and workflow systems. He focuses on building reliable software that can support messy real-world healthcare operations.
In addition to leading engineering, Josh oversees implementation and support, helping ensure that integrations, rollout decisions, and workflow design translate into usable systems for clients.
His career includes roles at Oklahoma Heart Hospital and Shopify, where he worked on products supporting high-volume operational communication.
An Oklahoma City native and proud father of two, Josh also gives back to his community by coaching youth baseball. Always curious about what's next in AI, he continues to explore how agentic systems and intelligent orchestration can transform the nature of work and productivity.
Devon leads operations by helping healthcare organizations evaluate AI in ways that are practical and measurable. He also helps shape Calvient's Customer Trust program, grounded in the idea that healthcare technology should earn confidence through clarity, compliance, and operational discipline.
Devon's path into technology wasn't traditional. A philosophy graduate, he learned to code on-the-job and quickly began designing custom workflows for hospital teams. That curiosity grew into a career spanning startups, big tech, and entrepreneurship. He has led Product and Technology teams, advised multiple healthcare technology companies, and has played a leading role in his local startup ecosystem.
Today, Devon speaks and writes about the future of AI in healthcare, translating technical complexity into clear, actionable insights for practice operators and healthcare leaders.
Beyond his work, Devon is an avid reader and musician, enjoys playing bass, and spends as much time outdoors as possible with his wife and young son.
